Polydactyl cats hold a special place in the hearts of many feline enthusiasts, and it’s easy to see why. There’s nothing quite as adorable as extra toes on cute kitty paws! One particular ginger tabby cat named Yeti takes this cuteness to the next level with his impressive number of toes. Born earlier this year in April, Yeti’s owner notes that he’s still growing since his breed is typically larger in size. Known for their curly ears, short tails, and friendly personalities, these gentle giants of the cat world are beloved by many. Yeti embodies all of these endearing traits – and then some, with his extra digit count and striking ginger coat. Suffice to say, this quirky feline is a cat lover’s dream come true!
What distinguishes Yeti from others?
Yeti is named after the famous mythological creature, ‘the abominable snowman’, known for its huge white and furry appearance, just like Bigfoot. His personality is confident, sweet, highly intelligent, and enjoys being a troublemaker. Along with his older tabby cat brother Mac, he has a crested gecko named Sniper that he adores watching in her habitat. One unique thing about Yeti is his love for outdoor activities and exploring new places.
Is there something unique about Yeti that you’d like people to know? Well, Yeti is a Highland Lynx breed who happens to be a polydactyl cat with 23 toes. His ears have a distinctive backward curl and he has a tiny little nub for a tail. He’s a large breed of feline and can grow up to 20 pounds or more. I want to express my gratitude to Kelly, Yeti’s cat mom, for allowing me to share his story and images with all the readers of Cattitude Daily. What does he enjoy doing in his free time?
Well, he takes pleasure in playing with his toys, running around the house like crazy, observing the birds and squirrels outside from the window, and taking a nice long nap to recharge after an exhausting day.
