Neymar expressed his joy in an announcement on social media, welcoming his daughter and declaring her already loved by their family. He shared pictures of himself with both the newborn and the mother, including one where Mavie’s older sister held her. The footballer was absent from a match due to the arrival of his daughter, traveling to Sao Paulo to be present at her birth at the Sao Luiz sanatorium.
Earlier this year, Neymar found himself in hot water once again when he was fined for breaking environmental regulations. The talented footballer owns a lavish mansion in Rio de Janeiro worth $9 million that he acquired back in 2016. However, the city council slapped him with a fine of over $3 million after discovering an artificial lake on his property that diverted the course of some rivers, which is strictly prohibited. Additionally, Neymar carried out unauthorized excavations and irregular movements of earth and rocks. He even used sand from a nearby beach for his landscaping. Despite the hefty fine, the city council forgave it, but that didn’t stop Neymar from getting into other conflicts, such as his alleged infidelity during his partner’s pregnancy.
